Nickelodeon star Ariana Grande just signed her first record deal!

The actress, who is best known for her role of kooky Cat on hit show Victorious, inked a contract with Universal Republic yesterday.

An excited Ariana revealed the news on Twitter, when she wrote her fans: “I’m officially a Universal Republic recording artist and my 1st single will be dropping very soon.

“I love you. Thank you 4 being so patient!,” she added. “Thank you for being the so amazing & supportive.. I know you’re going to love my album! It’s official! ”

The 18-year-old later tweeted: “I always think of you guys when I’m writing & recording. I know you’ll be happy. I’m so thrilled right now. I love you!”

We can’t wait to hear her debut single!

Victorious is hitting Kinect, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS!

Victorious: Time to Shine for the Kinect, Xbox 360 and Victorious: Hollywood Arts Debut for the Nintendo DS allow players to dive into the show’s fun world of Hollywood Arts High School!

You can create your own character and become a new student alongside “Tori Vega” and the Victorious cast. You can also act, direct, play an air instrument, sing, dance and star in a music video featuring hit songs from the show!

Do you think you can earn a lead role in the Big Showcase, the biggest performance of the year?

The game is set to release around the 2011 Holiday season!
